Puppy Whelping Rooms

Each whelping room is located within a fully enclosed indoor unit measuring 5 × 5 metres, offering generous space while maintaining a quiet, protected setting for both the dam and her litter.

Smart Monitoring Systems

All rooms are professionally approved and fully temperature-controlled, with smart monitoring systems connected directly to our mobile devices. This allows us to ensure the environment remains within the optimal temperature range for newborn puppies at all times.

24-Hour Live Supervision

For added peace of mind, every room is equipped with 24-hour live Wi-Fi camera monitoring, enabling continuous supervision. This allows us to respond immediately if:

  • A puppy shows any signs of distress
  • Whelping begins
  • A puppy is at risk, such as accidental overlay by the mother

During the first critical week after birth, we sleep inside the whelping rooms to provide constant, hands-on supervision and immediate assistance whenever needed.

Why This Matters for Your Puppy

The first days of a puppy’s life are the most delicate and important for their long-term health and development. A carefully controlled, stress-free, and closely supervised environment helps reduce risks, supports healthy growth, and ensures puppies receive immediate care if ever needed.

Constant monitoring allows us to respond within moments, not minutes, giving every puppy the best possible start. Our hands-on approach during the early stages also helps us track each puppy’s progress closely, ensuring they are feeding well, staying warm, gaining weight, and thriving as they should.

This level of care provides peace of mind that your puppy has been raised in a safe, attentive, and professional environment from the very beginning.

Frequently Asked Puppy Questions

Preparing For Your Rottweiler Puppy - FAQs

What should I have ready before my puppy comes home?

Before collection day, please make sure you have the essentials prepared:

  • A secure sleeping area or crate
  • Puppy food (we will advise what they are currently eating)
  • Food and water bowls
  • A collar and lead
  • Safe chew toys
  • Puppy training pads (if needed)
  • A secure, enclosed yard or garden space

Having everything ready helps your puppy settle in calmly and confidently.

How do I prepare my home?

Puppies are curious and love to explore, so it’s important to “puppy-proof” your home:

  • Remove small objects they could swallow
  • Secure electrical cords
  • Keep cleaning products, chemicals, and medications out of reach
  • Block off unsafe areas like pools, stairs, or open gates

Creating a safe environment prevents accidents and builds good habits from day one.

When should I take my puppy to the vet?

We recommend booking a vet check within the first few days of bringing your puppy home. Your vet will guide you on the upcoming vaccination schedule, deworming, tick and flea prevention, and general health care.

When can my puppy start training?

Training starts the moment your puppy arrives home. Rottweilers are intelligent and thrive with structure, consistency, and leadership. Early socialisation and puppy training classes are strongly recommended once your vet confirms it is safe.

How much exercise does a Rottweiler puppy need?

While Rottweilers grow into strong, active adults, puppies need controlled and moderate exercise to protect their developing joints. Short play sessions and gentle walks are ideal — avoid long runs or jumping from heights while they are still growing.

What should I feed my puppy?

Your puppy will be on a specific diet when leaving us, and we will provide guidance on feeding amounts and schedules. Sudden food changes can upset their stomach, so any diet transition should be done gradually.

How do I help my puppy settle in during the first few nights?

The first few nights can be an adjustment. Keep their sleeping area warm, quiet, and close to you if possible. A soft blanket and a consistent bedtime routine can help them feel secure as they adapt to their new home.
